Our mission is to provide a personalized approach to dog training so that teaching stays with the dog for years to come. We couldn’t be happier with the results from Charles at The Dog Wizard! Our sweet 5-month-old puppy, Koda, just completed the 14-day puppy program, and the transformation is nothing short of extraordinary. The progress in Koda’s basic commands and loose-leash training is truly night and day.

Charles was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. He kept us informed every step of the way, which was incredibly reassuring. The regular updates, along with the adorable photos and videos he sent, made us feel connected to Koda’s journey even when we couldn’t be there in person.

So happy I signed my Great Dane Mix up for this training. It has helped me and my dog learn so much. The support groups after graduation are great to keep the training fresh for the both of us. Charles was a great trainer

Cannot say enough good things about The Dog Wizard. We signed up our dog for a 21 day boarding/training to help with some reactivity and recall training, along with loose leash walking skills. The outcome of that training and professionalism of the trainer, Dalton, far exceeded my expectations. He was extremely knowledgeable, and made the transition easy by providing us clear instruction on how to move forward with training. They keep you updated with your dogs training progress, post update videos to their instagram page and provide clear instructions upon return of your dog on how to continue with training at home. I noticed a complete change with my dog’s behavior and have been provided the tools and base training needed to continue on with her development. I can’t thank Dalton and The Dog Wizard enough for their help!

Thank you Dog Wizard. We adopted a large dog who loved to pull us around on walks (making them near impossible) and does not do that anymore. Walks are so enjoyable now! He’s also better with all the basics: sit, down, come, etc. Dalton was great to work with, explained things really well, and addressed our concerns. It was a great experience.

The Dog Wizard Riverview offers a free evaluation. Most locations will even come to you to do one! This enables our trainers to meet you and your dog, go over your training goals and find a program that works for you. Give us a call and we will help you set one up.
The Dog Wizard trainers are well versed in a variety of training tools; from food to collars to remote collars. We know that not all dogs do well with every tool and we will help you decide what tool is best for your dog as well as what tools you’re comfortable with using. At the end of the day, whatever tool you’re comfortable in using will be the one you’re most consistent in using and that’s what’s most important to us.
It is never too late to start teaching your dog new habits. It will take more time and effort than teaching a new puppy but you will love the outcome.

In order to know how long it will take to train your dog, we will need to do a free consultation. During your consultation, we will get to understand what you are looking to gain from the training as well as evaluate your dog to see what we will need to do to get him where you would like him to be. At that point, we will be able to give you a timeline for his training.

We do not have a one size fits all approach to training. Each dog owner team that has a free evaluation will have a customized program designed to fit your specific needs. Because of this, individualized system pricing varies. Give us a call and we will help you set one up
