Karen Lownsbery
Owner
Karen is the proud owner of Twin Cities Dog Wizard, which is a truly customized unique concept of dog training.
Having over 40 years of experience in the professional Pet Industry, Karen has devoted her life to the health, love and well being of animals. Ranging from professional show handling, training, instructing, certified master groomer, Vet assistant, CPR certified; to the owner of Pet Images Country Inn, a unique concept of luxury Pet Boarding, Grooming, Doggy Daycare and The Twin Cities Dog Wizard training program.
Emilee Bryant
Trainer
Emilee grew up around the twin cities area and was raised with multiple yorkies in her household at all times. She has always had a soft spot for dogs so as soon as she was old enough to work she applied to Pet Images Resort. She worked as a Kennel tech for about a year then eventually worked in the daycare at the resort. Once old enough to get her own dog she decided to go a bit bigger than a yorkie and get an Australian Shepherd. Now owning a working breed pup - Emilee learned to keep up with his craziness and somehow train him to be the obedient pup he is today. She currently only has the one, Remy, and he is 7 years young. Emilee and Remy love going on off leash hikes and trails as much as they can!
Jon
Manager
Jon is a Trainer and the Manager for the Dog Wizard Twin Cities. He started working in the dog industry after highschool as a kennel tech for hunting dogs, he quickly discovered his interest for training capabilities for working breed dogs and was fortunate to start training soon after. In 2023 he moved to the metro from northern Minnesota to start training at The Dog Wizard where he learned about the psychology behind behavior modification and overall obedience training. His main goal is to help people understand what might be going on in the mind of a dog and how we can help you and your dog have a great relationship through training.
Michael
Trainer/Assistant Manager
Michael has always had a passion for animals. When he graduated high school and went to college, he started to get into the pet industry. Having his first animal related job being at a dog daycare in 2020, he quickly began to realize his passion for dog behavior and how they interacted with each other. It then became prominent to him that he wanted a career in dog training and helping people build better bonds with their dogs. Michael has worked with cases of behavior modification such as separation anxiety and reactivity, as well as advanced obedience. He started his trainer journey in River Falls, Wisconsin in 2022. Receiving the opportunity to mentor under a couple of trainers. He then moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin for a year to work with another trainer and to build his own training programs. Lastly, finding the Dog Wizard and moving back close to the Twin Cities and receiving the Dog Wizard Trainer Certification.
Mica
Lead Trainer
Mica began her training journey out in Los Angeles before moving back to Minnesota, where she learned an almost identical approach to training. Adjusting here has been a breeze. She has a true passion for not only working with and helping your pups, but their human parents as well. Mica really loves training working breeds like German Shepherds and Cattle dogs, but has a passion for all dogs and all animals.
