We had the pleasure of going through training for our 4 year old Cattle Dog, Nova, with Cheyenne as our trainer. It's almost been a year and our girl is still doing excellently with the training we worked on. We often get compliments on how well she takes our instructions. Cheyenne was very personable, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. She adjusted some of the trainings for our dog to be more inclusive of her vision problems and were so grateful. Top notch! Can’t beat the personalized approach they offer. Cheyenne, the trainer is not only intuitive in her engagement but very knowledgeable about a vast array of training applications! She had our pup listening to and fully complying to commands in the first few minutes-something that I’ve been working on for 5 years! Very impressive! Highly recommend!

Our trainer was great! I have learned SO much from her and now my pup is showing so much improvement. If you're on the fence about getting your dog trained, I highly recommend it. My family and my dog's life is so much better now. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the distance from where I live. I’m in Skokie, which was a HIKE, BUT the professionalism and dedication to helping my dog was on display so I can’t hold that against them! Any issues with your pooch, give them a call!

The Dog Wizard St. Charles offers a free evaluation. Most locations will even come to you to do one! This enables our trainers to meet you and your dog, go over your training goals and find a program that works for you. Give us a call and we will help you set one up.
The Dog Wizard trainers are well versed in a variety of training tools; from food to collars to remote collars. We know that not all dogs do well with every tool and we will help you decide what tool is best for your dog as well as what tools you’re comfortable with using. At the end of the day, whatever tool you’re comfortable in using will be the one you’re most consistent in using and that’s what’s most important to us.
It is never too late to start teaching your dog new habits. It will take more time and effort than teaching a new puppy but you will love the outcome.

In order to know how long it will take to train your dog, we will need to do a free consultation. During your consultation, we will get to understand what you are looking to gain from the training as well as evaluate your dog to see what we will need to do to get him where you would like him to be. At that point, we will be able to give you a timeline for his training.
